JSW MG Motor India is expected to launch a premium, all-electric Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), called MG M9 EV, soon. The company has officially started pre-bookings for the car on their website and at new "MG Select" dealerships.
The premium and luxurious MPV segment is a new direction for the brand in India, which uses the global Maxus platform and technology. The car is expected to be priced between Rs. 60 to 70 lacs (ex-showroom) in India.
It can compete with other large MPVs like the Kia Carnival, Toyota Vellfire, and BYD Seal Lion 7 (expected), and also holds the advantage of being fully electric.
MG M9 EV Limousine expected price in India
The price for this MPV is not confirmed, but this limousine car is likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 60 lacs to 70 lacs (ex-showroom) in India. The M9 EV will likely be positioned to compete with high-end MPVs and potentially some luxury SUVs.
MG Motor India has officially started accepting bookings for the car with a token amount of ₹51,000. This MPV will be sold exclusively through MG's new premium retail channel, MG Select.

MG M9 EV Limousine interior features
The interior of this electric Limousine is expected to be a luxurious and feature-rich space. It will have both 6 and 7-seat configurations, and the 6-seater variant is likely to have the Presidential Seats.
These special seats are expected to have 16-way adjustments, 8 massage modes, ventilation, heating, reclining seats, and Fold-Out Ottoman seats.
The interior will likely have plush leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, 6-way power-adjustable front seats, 4-way adjustable steering wheel.
The cabin is expected to have a dual-tone theme, a dual yacht-style sunroof, and extra-large luggage space. On the technology side, the interior might contain:

MG M9 EV Limousine dimensions and exterior features
Based on the revealed information, this car is going to have substantial dimensions to accommodate a large cabin. Its dimensions are:

- Wheelbase: 3,200 mm
The exterior of this limousine looks boxy and has a "floating roof" effect due to the blacked-out D pillar. The car is expected to come in Cardiff Black, Luminous White, and Mystic Grey color designs.
MG M9 EV Limousine battery, range, and specs
This large MPV is equipped with a large 90 kWh battery offering a WLTP claimed range of 430 km. It has a front-wheel-drive electric motor and supports both AC and fast DC charging.
It is expected to have an 11 kW onboard charger, which can charge it from 5% to 100% in approximately 8.5 hours. The fast 60 kW DC charger could take it from 30% to 80% in around 30 minutes.
The car delivers around 241 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque and can run up to 180 km/h. It will likely feature 19-inch alloy wheels.
The car is also expected to come with safety features like 7 airbags, ESC, 360-degree surround camera, Level 2 ADAS, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and more.
