Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers, has updated the Tata Altroz premium hatchback for the year 2025. The hatchback is now being offered with new variants, color schemes, and powertrain configurations. Tata launched the Altroz hatchback in India in 2020, and this is the first significant update the model has received since its launch.
The 2025 Tata Altroz Facelift price in India starts at INR 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has made it official that the 2025 Altroz bookings in the domestic market will commence on June 2. The updated Altroz premium hatchback comes in four variants: Smart, Accomplished S, Creative, and Pure. In its segment, the updated Altroz rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Design
Tata Motors has made some significant changes to the design language of the updated Altroz. The hatchback comes equipped with a front fascia with all-LED headlights, followed by eyebrow-style LED DRLs. Other updates incorporate a newly designed grille, updated bumper, flush-style door handles, newly designed alloy wheels, and more.

Inside the cabin, the new Tata Altroz Facelift features a range of amenities, including a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Grand Prestigia dashboard, ambient lighting, a voice-enabled sunroof, an air purifier, a wireless charger, a 2-spoke steering wheel with the Tata logo, rain-sensing wipers, and more.
For safety, Tata Motors is offering the 2025 Tata Altroz Facelift with features like six airbags, ESP, fog lamps, Hill Hold Assist, SOS call function, a 360-degree camera, and more. The new Altroz is built on the ALFA architecture, and it comes with a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, which makes it one of the safest Tata cars in the Indian market.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Powertrain
When it comes to powertrain options, the new Altroz facelift receives three engine options: 1.2-litre CNG, 1.2-litre petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. There are three transmission options available for customers: a 5-speed AMT, a 5-speed manual, and a 6-speed dual-clutch AT unit.
