Features of the New Range Rover SV Black Edition

Range Rovers SUVs offer unrivalled luxury and refinement to their owners with exceptional off-road capability, too.

The new Range Rover has "Dipped in Black" kind of exterior aesthetics. Here is an overview for an easy read:

  • Narvik Gloss Black Paint
  • Gloss Black Detailing on grille mesh, bonnet lettering, side vents, window surrounds, and the iconic oval badge
  • 23-inch Gloss Black Alloy Wheels with gloss black brake calipers
  • Black Ceramic SV Roundel Badge

It has an exquisite dark-themed interior. Have a look at the list of these features:

  • Near-Aniline Ebony Leather Upholstery
  • Satin Black Finishes on elements like wood veneers (black birch) and the gear selector (satin black ceramic)
  • "Moonlight Chrome" Detailing
  • Single-Panel Seat Covers (first time in the SV Black)

The car now has pioneering sensory technologies. It has Body and Soul Seats (BASS), which generate vibrations in the seats in sync with the Meridian Signature Surround Sound System.

It now has the world-first immersive Sensory Floor Technology. Here, 4  transducers are built into the front and rear passenger floor with the BASS feature. These precisely synchronized pulsations sync with the audio system and seat haptics using AI-optimizing software. This provides a true "full-body" audio experience.

The Sensory Floor also works with "BASS Wellness Programs," which offers 6 modes (from 'Calm' to 'Invigorating') designed to reduce stress and soothe travellers. The deep-pile carpets encourage occupants to remove footwear to fully experience the floor vibrations.

New Range Rover SV Black Edition Powertrain

It's powered by the same BMW-sourced 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which produces around 615 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. This enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.5 seconds.

SV in the Range Rover SV means Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), which means the team makes the already great Range Rover even more luxurious and high-performance.

New Range Rover SV Black Edition Expected Price

The expected price for the Range Rover SV Black Edition in India would likely be in the range of Rs. 4.6 Crore to Rs. 5 Crore, or even slightly higher.
