Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Ghost Prism special edition model, inspired by modern design aesthetics, to celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2024. The new Ghost Prism commemorates the company’s heritage and commitment to craftsmanship and luxury. This model is limited to only 120 units, and it gets several cosmetic changes. According to the brand, the cosmetic enhancements take inspiration from contemporary designs.

The limited-edition car comes in a gunmetal grey shade, and the paint scheme has been crafted via a 10-step process. Additionally, the brand is offering various color choices from its extensive palette to its customers. After selecting the exterior color, buyers can personalize their car with four accent themes: Mandarin, Phoenix Red, Turchese, or Forge Yellow. The lower bumper inserts, coachline, and brake callipers are adorned with these accent colors.

Rolls-Royce says that the exterior paint has undergone a four-layer application, in which each layer is hand-sanded, and it took approximately 16 hours to perfect the color on the car’s exterior. The Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism features a rich mineral finish that further enhances its sophisticated aesthetic. The traditional stainless steel wing mirrors, boot lid, and grille are all colored in a smoked black-grey hue known as 'Burnout.'

Inside the luxurious cabin, the Ghost Prism comes equipped with the company’s signature starlight headliner, housing 1,040 colored stars. While the iconic British automaker has not shared many details about the interior, it has assured its customers that the cabin will feature several bespoke color options. Notably, this special edition displays a gunmetal-and-white scheme for the cabin, which is complemented by phoenix-red accents on the steering wheel, dashboard, and seats. The Rolls-Royce logo is also embellished in the same color scheme. The limited edition retains its engine; it draws power from the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that churns out 555 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque.

The Director of Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Anders Warming, said, “At Rolls-Royce, we are led by the tastes and desires of our clients, who in many cases determine global trends in fashion and the wider luxury sector. Ghost Prism is an extension of the personal aesthetic of a specific subset from this group of tastemakers. The motor car’s innovative use of dark, neutral tones with subtle impulses of colour, places it firmly within the contemporary luxury landscape. Our clients are experts and connoisseurs who exactly know what they want; Ghost Prism celebrates the unique relationships we have with them.”
