The off-road bike enthusiasts in India are excited as the global-spec variant of the KTM 390 Enduro R is finally available in India. The original global variant has a longer suspension and higher ground clearance than the India-spec variant.

The global-spec dual-sport bike has been launched in India at Rs. 3.53 lacs (ex-showroom), and it is approximately Rs. 17,000 more expensive than the India-specific version.

How is the Global-Spec KTM 390 Enduro R Different from the Indian Variant?
KTM initially launched an "India-specific" version of the 390 Enduro R in April 2025. This version had toned-down suspension travel (200-205mm) and a lower seat height (860mm) compared to the international model
This India-specific launch faced considerable criticism from serious off-road enthusiasts and media due ot its reduced suspension travel and ground clearance.
The newly launched international-spec version of the 390 Enduro R has a full-length suspension and higher ground clearance.

Global-Spec KTM 390 Enduro R Highlight Features & Specs
The key focus of this bike is its fully adjustable WP XPLOR suspension, which is 30mm more than the India-spec Enduro R. The newly launched variant also has a segment-leading 277 mm of ground clearance.
The front suspension is a 43 mm WP APEX upside-down open cartridge fork with 230 mm of wheel travel with 30-step damping adjustability (compression and rebound).
The rear suspension is a WP APEX Separate Piston monoshock with 230 mm of travel and 20-step damping adjustment, and 10-step preload adjustability.
Other features and specifications of the international trim remain the same as the Indian-spec 390 Enduro R.
