Bajaj Auto India has launched the Platina 100 Kick Start (KS) variant at a starting price of Rs 51,667 (Ex-showroom) in the country. It is available in two color options: Cocktail Wine Red, & Ebony Black with Silver decals. The new KS variant, being the base one in Bajaj Platina 100 range, will be available across all the company authorized dealerships in India. Bajaj Platina 100 Kick Start comes with ‘Spring-on-Spring’ Nitrox suspension, ‘Comfortec technology’ and tubeless tyres as standard while getting a refreshed look with hand guards.



Bajaj Platina 100 Kick start boasts of LED DRL headlamp upfront along with a quilted seat. The company has also equipped the motorcycle with newly designed indicators and mirrors. Other exterior elements include protective tank pad, wide rubber footpads and tubeless tyres. Bajaj has worked rigorously on the improvement of suspension setup. The new variant gets 20 percent longer front and rear suspension while Spring on Spring Nitrox suspension, offering 15 percent extra comfort, also makes it to the equipment list. The hand guards are also offered to protect the hands from wind blasts. Bajaj Platina 100 Kick Start has a ground clearance 200mm while having a kerb weight of 117kgs.

Mechanically, the motorcycle is powered by a BS6 compliant 102cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine which delivers a top power of 7.8bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 8.34Nm at 5500rpm. Mated to a 4-speed gearbox, it has a top speed of 90kmph.
