Ather Energy has announced various year-end offers and discounts on its electric scooters. As the 2023 calendar year comes to an end, several automakers have started providing special schemes and benefits. Ather Energy is also offering special discounts for its customers. The Bengaluru-based electric vehicle maker has named this offer “Ather Electric December." The new scheme has several benefits for customers, like reduced EMI interest, an extended warranty, and cash benefits.
Ather is offering significant discounts of up to INR 24,000 on both Ather 450S and 450X electric scooters. The Ather 450S and 450X will now come with cash benefits worth INR 6,500, and a whopping corporate benefit of INR 1,500. As part of Ather’s Electric December program, buyers will get an additional INR 5,000. All these offers are valid until December 31, 2023.

Customers can benefit from the new reduced rate of interest of 5.99 percent per annum and save up to INR 12,000 on EMI interest. If any buyer purchases the Ather 450S and 450X variants, then they can get their hands on additional financing schemes like 60-month EMI tenures and zero-down payments. Ather is also offering a free Battery ProtectTM, which comes at a price of INR 7,000. This package also incorporates a warranty that protects the battery for a period of five years, or 60,000 km. Customers can also get a guarantee of 70 percent state-of-health (SoH).
The 450S comes with a claimed range of 115 kilometers and a high speed of 90 kmph. It is equipped with several features, such as Park Assist, FallSafe, coasting regen, and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). The Ather 450X, on the other hand, is the flagship model of the company’s scooter lineup. This electric scooter has a high speed of 90 kmph, and it comes with a claimed range of 150 km. It has two battery options: 3.7 kWh and 2.9 kWh. The 450X electric scooter has a range of features, such as Park Assist, FallSafe, a 7-inch TFT touchscreen along with Google Maps integration, and AutoHold.
As of now, Ather is working on its top-end variant, the 450X Apex. The bookings for this scooter have already started. Customers can book this scooter for a token amount of INR 2,500. Ather will commence deliveries of the 450X Apex in March 2024. The teaser videos released by the brand confirm that the new 450X Apex is faster than the outgoing 450X.
The Bengaluru-based company has announced that it is currently manufacturing a family electric scooter that will give tough competition to the TVS iQube and the Ola S1 Pro. The upcoming family scooter has been spotted testing on roads covered in white and black camouflage. Ather is planning to launch this electric scooter sometime in 2024.
