Audi India has launched the 2021 Q5 SUV facelift at a starting price of Rs 58.93 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. Being locally manufactured at the company plant in Aurangabad, the 2021 Audi Q5 facelift is offered in two variants namely Premium Plus and Technology. It is the German luxury brand's ninth product launch this year in the Indian market. Positioned between the Q2 and Q8 in India, Audi Q5 will be at loggerheads with the likes of Mercedes Benz GLC, BMW X3, Range Rover Evoque and Volvo XC60.
2021 Audi Q5 Facelift Design
The 2021 Audi Q5 flaunts the trademark single-frame grille upfront with a sharper octagon outline and vertical struts. The grille and slats are presented with chrome treatment while several other elements like the skid plates, aluminium roof rails and the new foglamp casing get silver accents. Riding on 19-inch alloy wheels, the SUV boasts of wraparound shoulder line, LED Combination Lamps and redesigned bumpers. It is offered in five color choices namely Navarra Blue, Ibis White, Mythos Black, Floret Silver and Manhattan Gray.

The cabin comes in dual-tone Atlas beige and Okapi brown leatherette upholstery with inlays in Piano black finishing. The 2021 Audi Q5 facelift features include Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, 755 watts 19 speaker B&O Premium 3D Sound System, Sensor-controlled boot lid operation with Comfort key, Park assist with parking aid plus, Power front seats with driver memory, Audi phone box with wireless charging, 3-zone air-conditioning, ambient lighting with 30 colours and Panoramic sunroof. The SUV features a 25.65 cm touchscreen infotainment system which is based on the third generation Modular Infotainment Platform MIB3. It is coupled with Audi's latest MMI Touch, MMI Navigation Plus and voice controls alongside Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
2021 Audi Q5 Facelift Engine
As for safety of the occupants, the 2021 Q5 facelift has been equipped with 8 airbags which include rear-side airbags. The SUV is powered by a 2.0L 45 TFSI engine which develops top power of 249 bhp and peak torque of 370 Nm. It does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 6.3 seconds while clocking top speed of 237kmph. The SUV also gets Audi Drive Select which offers six driving modes in the form of comfort, dynamic, individual, auto, efficiency and off-road. In addition, the Audi quattro four-wheel-drive system and Adaptive suspension with damping control also make it to the feature list.
