An updated version of Yamaha's Aerox 155 scooter has been released. The scooter is known as the MotoGP edition and is commonly turning around in the market with a thrilling news stating Yamaha Aerox 155 MotoGP edition launched and has a brand-new paint job that was inspired by the Yamaha MotoGP team livery. Prior to the first Bharat-GP, the manufacturer manufactured comparable versions of the R15M, MT-15, and Ray ZR 125. The Aerox 155 MotoGP Edition costs INR 1.48 lakh, which is just slightly more expensive than the basic model's suggested retail price of INR 1.47 lakh (All prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). Yamaha also offers the Aerox 155 in Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Grey Vermillion, and Silver, in addition to this variation. 

As previously indicated, this particular Aerox 155 has a MotoGP-inspired paint job with the Monster Energy logo prominently displayed on its body. Apart from this, the scooter still has the usual amenities like Bluetooth connectivity and traction control.

Regarding the engine, the 155 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine that powers the Aerox continues to produce a maximum of 14.8 horsepower and 13.9 Nm. In April 2023, Yamaha released the Aerox 155 with OBD-2 compliance; as of right now, the scooter complies with E20 fuel regulations as well.

The newly released MotoGP version of the Aerox 155 follows Yamaha's outstanding showing at the recent Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida's inaugural Bharat GP. Fabio Quartararo, the winner of the 2021 riders' championship, finished third overall at the Bharat GP, behind Marco Bezzecchi and 'Pecco' Bagnaia.

Over 25,000 people visited the Japanese manufacturer's stand at BIC for the duration of the three-day MotoGP event. With the introduction of the MT-03 and R3 motorcycles, which were also on show during the event, the manufacturer will further broaden its offering in the upcoming months.
