Okaya EV, a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer, is all set to introduce a new brand named Ferrato, which will retail electric two-wheelers in India. Ferrato will launch the new Disruptor electric motorcycle on May 2. Okaya EV has already commenced pre-bookings of the upcoming bike for a token amount of INR 500, but this cost is only for the first 1,000 consumers. The company will later increase the booking amount to INR 2,500, which will also be available for a limited time. The bike can be reserved via Ferrato’s official website.
The EV maker has also released a teaser image of the upcoming Ferrato Disruptor. The bike is a full-faired sports model, and it comes in a red color scheme along with snazzy body graphics that further enhance its sporty look. The upcoming motorcycle comes equipped with an integrated windscreen above and a twin-LED headlamp setup. The motorcycle features one taillamp and split grab rails at the rear.

The Disruptor will be powered by a 6.4 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that churns out a peak torque of 228 Nm. According to Ferrato, the new electric motorcycle will have a top speed of 95 kmph. The Disruptor’s battery set measures 3.97 kWh, and it can provide a certified riding range of 129 km on one charge.
Okaya EV has disclosed plans to open dedicated service centers for the Ferrato sub-brand rather than using its current network, as Ferrato prepares to make its impact in the Indian EV market. Furthermore, the EV maker is planning to establish more than 100 Ferrato dealerships nationwide.

Recently, Okaya EV launched the Motofaast scooter in India, further expanding its lineup. The electric scooter is available at a price of INR 1,36,999 (ex-showroom). The bike comes equipped with an electric motor that delivers 2300 W of peak power. The Motofaast electric scooter has three riding modes: Eco, Sports, and City.
