Royal Enfield made an announcement that 120 units of its 650 Twins Anniversary Edition were sold out in just 120 seconds or 2 minutes in the country. The online sale opened at 7 PM on December 6, 2021. The motorcycle manufacturer revealed the 120th Anniversary Edition of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in November 2021 globally. Following this, Royal Enfield announced that the only 480 units of this special edition will be made available worldwide. Having said this, 120 units were allotted for the Indian market (60 - Interceptor and 60 - Continental GT). 


The special edition models have been built to commemorate Royal Enfield’s glorious 120 years. Talking about the price, the 120th Anniversary Edition of Interceptor 650 costs Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Continental GT 650 is retailed at Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Moving on, both models bear handcrafted brass tank badges that represent the brand’s 120-year journey. Other changes that make these motorcycles different from the standard model include engine and exhaust finished in black. Furthermore, the side body panel gets a special decal.

The collector’s edition of Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 gets no mechanical changes. These models further come with an extended warranty for fourth and fifth year over and above the three year standard warranty. Besides the Indian market, the limited edition models will be sold in South-East Asian, American, and European markets as well.
