Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, one of the biggest luxury carmakers in the world, has unveiled its ultra-exclusive roadster, the Arcadia Droptail.  After La Rose Noire and Amethyst, the Arcadia Droptail is the third Coachbuilt variant showcased by the brand. The company recently showcased the new car at a private ceremony in Singapore. The automaker has already delivered the new model to an owner in Singapore, who chose to have a left-hand drive configuration.

The name "Arcadia" originates from Greek mythology, and it takes inspiration from the place called ‘Arcadia’, which is known as ‘Heaven on Earth’. This new model features a combination of bespoke touches and a roadster body style. The Arcadia comes in a white exterior color. The paint finish contains glass and aluminum particles, giving the exterior a shimmering effect in the natural light. In comparison to the previous Droptail commissions, the Arcadia gets carbon-fibre elements that are covered in a custom silver hue. It comes equipped with a rear decklid that has a curved, wood-covered panel. The new luxury car stands on 22-inch mirror-polished alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail features a unique white color that complements the exterior paint. There is a clock integrated on the dashboard, which was assembled in two years and five months. The headrests and outer portions of the seats are finished in a bespoke tan color. The Arcadia Droptail is finished in Santos Straight Grain wood and tan leather.

The manufacturer used 233 wood pieces in the production of this model to create attractive geometric patterns. 76 wood pieces are solely dedicated to the rear deck. It took the coachbuilding team over 8,000 hours to develop the various wood pieces in the cabin. The protection system made by the brand ensures durability in several climates, incorporating tropical conditions, which are common in the regions of Indonesia and Singapore. The car is likely to be powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 that generates 584 bhp of power and a peak torque of 840 Nm.

The Chief Executive at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Chris Brownridge, said, “Rolls-Royce Coachbuild is the pinnacle expression of this incredible brand, and an unmatched concept in the luxury sector. In this department, the world’s most influential individuals collaborate with our designers, engineers and craftspeople to bring completely new ideas to life. Together, they create exquisite motor cars that not only become a cherished part of the commissioning client’s personal story but also add to the proud history of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Clients curate every facet of these masterpieces, which are brought into being by what I believe is the most talented team of experts in the luxury industry.”
