Porsche has just revealed the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Dubbed as the most powerful variant of the Panamera, the Turbo S E-Hybrid sees a boost in its all-electric drive range. It is expected to hit the showrooms by early 2021. Also, bookings for the hybrid model have begun according to the German sportscar automaker. However, the brand is yet to reveal the price structure for the new model. 



In terms of design, the New Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid gets subtle cosmetic updates to differentiate itself from the other variants. It features dual C-shaped turbo front light modules along with larger side air intakes. The rear end boasts of a revamped light bar running over the luggage compartment lid. Furthermore, the new model comes with options of darkened exclusive design tail light modules with dynamic coming/leaving home animation and three new 20-inch and 21-inch wheels. It also gets two exterior colour options which include Cherry Metallic and Truffle Brown Metallic.

Talking about the interior features, the New Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid comes equipped with a plethora of elements. The Porsche Communication Management features a higher display resolution that is compatible with Apple CarPlay. The chassis and control system of the hybrid model has been tuned in such a way to provide sportiness and comfort. Feature such as the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport) which includes Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), the rear-axle steering with Power Steering Plus, and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system all come as standard. 

Under the hood, the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is powered by a 4-litre V8 Biturbo engine along with an electric motor. The engine churns out a maximum power of 570 bhp. While the electric motor generates 135 bhp power and 400 Nm torque. The powertrain is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It has a top speed of 315 kmph. Due to the new 17.9 kWh battery and optimized driving modes, the all-electric drive range of the new model has been improved by 30 percent according to Porsche. 

The Porsche plug-in hybrid model can be charged at home either via a standard domestic outlet or by a power socket. Furthermore, it can also be charged at public charging points via a mode 3 cable.
