Maruti Suzuki has once again showcased their level of commitment towards the people of the country in order to acquire driving licenses with an ease. They are all set to help people obtain driving licenses in the U.P using a newly built automated driving license testing track soon. Recently, the carmaker signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Transport Department of Uttar Pradesh government to simplify the process of acquiring a driving license in Uttar Pradesh using automated test track. This new testing track will provide tests to acquire driving license for light vehicles, two-wheelers along with heavy vehicles. On top, the test will be in complete compliance with the guidelines issued by the Central Motor Vehicles Rules.

On December 2, last Saturday, the company and the UP government signed an official Memorandum of Understanding under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Five driving test and training facilities in the state were to be automated and run under the terms of the MoA. The next testing grounds for Maruti Suzuki will be located in five different cities around the state. Gorakhpur, Prayaraj, Mathura, Varanasi, and Ayodhya are among the cities on the list.

The testing track will soon be updated, using cutting-edge technology to more precisely assess applicants' driving abilities. The automaker claims that these tracks, along with integrated IT systems and high-definition cameras, will be developed scientifically. It guarantees to give a quick and transparent assessment of each applicant's driving abilities. "For over two decades, the company has been working tirelessly towards the 5Es of road safety (Education, Engineering, Enforcement, Emergency care, and Evaluation), and through our 8 institutes of Driving and Traffic Research across India, we have trained over 44 lakh people in safe driving training," stated Rahul Bharti, Executive Officer of Corporate Affairs at Maruti Suzuki India Limited.

When assessing the driving abilities of applicants, the Driver Training and Testing Institutes, or DTTI, won't use any human intervention. Within ten minutes of the test, the advanced automated tracks claim to provide an evaluation of every applicant. It promises to provide an impartial, transparent, and thorough testing process for each applicant in order to guarantee that only qualified candidates pass the exams.
