The South Korean manufacturer unveiled the Seltos as its first car in the country.

Kia India announced today that the updated Kia Seltos SUV has acquired over 100,000 bookings since its official launch in the Indian market in July 2023. The South Korean auto giant set foot in the Indian market with the Seltos, and it has always been a paramount model for the company. The popularity of the car is visible by its high demand in the Indian automotive market. The automaker revealed that it has been getting around 13,500 bookings for the Seltos cars every month.

The auto giant claims that almost 80 percent of customers have preferred the top variants of the Seltos, including HTK+ and higher ones. Whereas 40 percent of buyers have opted for variants that are equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). 80 percent of customers highly prefer the variants that feature a panoramic sunroof.

The South Korean manufacturer Kia unveiled the Seltos as its first vehicle in India. The brand entered the Indian automotive market in 2019. The manufacturer updated the SUV last year. The 2023 Seltos 2.0 received new exterior design and features. The sales chart for December 2023 positioned this SUV as the country’s best-selling compact model, leaving behind the all-time best-selling Hyundai Creta. The Seltos is available at a starting cost of INR 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
