A 3.0-liter 6-cylinder has also been offered by the company, which can make a maximum of 400 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. Buyers mostly go for the most popular turbo diesel engine, which includes a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder unit that generates 300 bhp and 650 Nm of torque. The Defender is available with one more powerful engine option. It is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine that produces 518 bhp and 625 Nm of torque. All these engines are transmitted by an eight-speed automatic transmission. All the variants of the Land Rover Defender come with a 4×4 standard feature.
