Ford India has cut out some of the features from the Endeavour range in the country, reveals a leaked document. The most notable omission from the whole SUV range is of the Active Noise Cancellation feature, which used to stand out amidst the competition till now. In addition, Ford Endeavour 4x2 Titanium misses out on the Front Door Steel Scuff Plate while the number of speakers in the music system has been reduced to 8 from the original 10. Moreover, the Titanium+ and Sport variants lose the Auxiliary Heater function which was a sort of heater for the rear seat occupants.

It is also learnt that the American automaker has silently changed the design of the alloy wheels of the 4x2 variants. The company has gone back to the earlier single-tone design of the alloys. All the units of the SUV with VIN after MAJAXXMRWALT00001 will lose out on the aforementioned features. Ford Endeavour is presently offered in four trims: Titanium 4X2 AT, Titanium Plus 4X2 AT, Titanium Plus 4X4 AT and Sport Edition. It is priced between Rs 29.99-35.10 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the Indian market while it takes on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas and MG Gloster. The Sport Edition was added to the Endeavour line-up earlier this year in September.

As for features, Ford Endeavour is equipped with a plethora of premium features such as 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, automatic day/night inside rear view mirror (IRVM), panoramic sunroof, 8-way power adjustable driver and passenger seats, one-touch up and down electric windows with anti-pinch features, power folding third row, front parking sensors, semi-auto parallel park assist, and 6 airbags. If we talk about Ford Endeavour Sport Edition, it comes loaded with several advanced features like LED headlamps, dual-zone climate control, hands free tailgate opening, Ford’s Terrain Management system and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.
