Citroen made its official debut in India in April 2021 with the launch of its premium mid-size SUV, the Citroen C5 Aircross. The company is now celebrating its third anniversary in the Indian market. Citroen has made a series of announcements, including a limited-edition model, newly lowered prices, and special offers for existing owners. The company has reduced the price of the C3 and C3 Aircross models. In addition, the brand has introduced a new Blu special edition for the Citroen e-C3 and C3.

The C3 hatchback entry-level variants now come with a discount of up to INR 17,000. The hatchback now comes at a starting price of INR 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The C3 Aircross SUV is available with a discount of INR 1 lakh. The price of the SUV now starts at INR 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new anniversary prices are only valid until the end of this month.

The company has revealed the new ‘Blu’ edition of the C3 and e-C3 models. The latest Blu limited edition will come in two variants: Feel and Shine. It will be available in the new Cosmo Blue color, complemented by roof graphics and body lines. The Citroen e-C3 Blu edition and C3 will come loaded with amenities like illuminated cup holders, customized seat covers, sill plates, an air purifier, seat-belt cushions, and a neck rest.

As part of the new anniversary offers, existing Citroen customers will get a free car spa, which includes a free car wash. Additionally, Citroen has launched a referral program that allows customers to receive a bonus of INR 10,000 for each successful referral.

In the Indian market, the Citroen range consists of the C3 Aircross compact SUV, the C5 Aircross SUV, and the C3 and e-C3 hatchbacks. The auto giant is now getting ready to launch a new coupe sports utility vehicle, which will take inspiration from the Basalt Vision concept. The upcoming SUV will be manufactured locally, and it is intended exclusively for Indian and South American markets.
