Volkswagen India has rolled out the Golf GTI hatchback in the Indian market with advanced features, striking design elements, and a robust powertrain. The automaker started the pre-booking process for the Golf GTI on May 5, 2025. Interestingly, the first batch of the car has already been sold out in India.
The auto giant has halted pre-bookings for now. However, bookings for the second batch are likely to commence soon. The Volkswagen Golf GTI price in India starts at INR 53 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it the most expensive Volkswagen model in India. It reaches the Indian shores as a CBU (completely built unit).
