Volkswagen India has announced that it will be offering complimentary roadside assistance to its customers who are affected by floods in Chennai. The brand has put forward its ‘Customer-First’ philosophy by providing support to flood-affected customers. Additionally, the manufacturer will also give its customers a free service check of their vehicles to timely repair the flood-related damages. The company has issued the necessary standardized repair guidelines across its dealerships. Volkswagen will ensure that its dealerships across the country will provide adequate resources, manpower, and spare parts to guarantee quick service and repairs.

This is not the first time Volkswagen has helped its customers. The manufacturer extended its aid to northern India in July 2023 by offering 24x7 roadside assistance to customers whose cars were damaged due to floods. In July 2023, the company also launched its annual monsoon campaign across the country at their 120 service touchpoints. It also offered several extended warranties and services. Customers who own Volkswagen cars could avail of a 40-point check-up for their cars.

Recently, Volkswagen unveiled the Virtus and Taigun in a new black color finish and Sound Edition. The new edition came with various updates, like an electric adjustment for the front seats and a seven-speaker setup that gets an amplifier and a subwoofer. It also comes with additional cosmetic changes.

The Volkswagen Taigun Sound Edition is available at a price of INR 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Topline manual transmission variant, and for the Topline automatic transmission variant, it is priced at INR 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Virtus Sound Edition is available at a price of INR 15.52 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual gearbox, and for the AT variant, it is priced at INR 16.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
