For the first time in India, Triumph will showcase its Rocket 3 model on 5th December 2019. The latest Triumph Rocket 3 bike is based on the company’s brand-new platform which is available in 2 variants Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT.

For the first time in India, Triumph will showcase its Rocket 3 model on 5th December 2019.

The new bike model was revealed globally a few months ago and now it’s coming to India. The showcase coincides with the company’s 6th anniversary in India. The bike will be unveiled at a special event in Goa, a day before the India bike week kicks off on 6th December 2019.

The latest Triumph Rocket 3 bike is based on the company’s brand-new platform which is available in 2 variants Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT.

The latter model is built for touring, but it is unclear as whether the company will reveal both the variants. The Rocket 3's is powered by a massive 2,500cc, liquid-cooled engine which is by far the largest engine fitted to a mass-production motorcycle. This mammoth engine produces a staggering 167bhp of power and 221Nm at 6000RPMof torque at 4000RPM. The new engine is also lighter by 18kg due to the new crankcase assembly, lubrication system and balancer shaft. Overall, the bike has shed 40kgs when compared to its predecessor. The bike is loaded with top-spec electronics to monitor the normal functioning of the motorcycle.

Also the new Rocket 3 bike will have all-aluminum frame, 47mm Showa USD forks that have 120mm of travel. The rear suspension is taken care by Showa piggyback reservoir and the remote adjuster that has 107mm travel.

The brake duties are handled by twin Brembo Stylema 320mm discs at the front and Brembo M4.32 four-piston caliper at the rear.

The bike is expected to go on sale right after it is unveiled.
