Toyota has already started accepting online bookings for the latest Innova Hycross GX (O) variant for a token amount of INR 50,000.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is planning to unveil the new GX (O) variant of the Innova Hycross MPV soon. The new trim will be positioned between the robust hybrid VX and the petrol only GX trims of the MPV, and it will come equipped with only the petrol engine. The automaker has listed the new trim of the famous three-row MPV on its official India website. The company is expected to officially reveal the GX (O) variant in the coming months. 

Toyota has already begun accepting online bookings for the latest Innova Hycross GX (O) variant for a token amount of INR 50,000. The carmaker has said that the GX (O) variant will have a seating capacity of eight people, including the driver. The variant will come with captain seats in the 7- and 8-seater configurations. Powering the GX (O) will be the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that is also integrated in other Innova Hycross variants. The engine churns out peak power of 173 bhp and 209 Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with a CVT transmission unit.

The new variant will be like other Innova Hycross variants in terms of appearance. Inside the cabin, it will feature a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with the brand's Connect Audio feature. The latest variant will house a twin-tone theme of chestnut brown and black in the cabin. The GX (O) will also sport automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a retractable sunshade at the back, powered ottoman seats, ADAS technology, a 4-speaker sound system, and a 360-degree camera that will house a panoramic view guide along with a Dynamic Back Guide.

When it comes to safety features, the upcoming variant will come loaded with features like six airbags, a reverse parking camera, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear and front parking sensors, and hill start assist.

The auto giant currently retails the Innova Hycross non-hybrid in four trims. The GX eight-seater variant is priced at INR 19.82 lakh (ex-showroom), while the petrol-only Innova Hycross comes at a starting price of INR 18.92 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming GX (O) non-hybrid variant is expected to be priced around INR 50,000 higher than the current models.
