Honda has equipped the Civic on sale in ASEAN countries like Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore with a plethora of safety features like six airbags, passive safety systems, and the Honda Sensing suite. Talking about the Honda Sensing Suite, it is the brand’s ADAS technology suite where one can access features like lane departure warning, a driver attention monitor, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam, and lane keep assist. However, the sedan misses out on features like blind spot detection system and a rear-view camera. Despite this, the new-gen Civic scored maximum points for pedestrian protection, automatic high beam, and the AEB system’s ability to detect motorcycles.
