JSW MG Motor India has rolled out the M9 electric MPV in the Indian market as the first model from the MG Select lineup. Bookings for the new MG M9 electric MPV car are now open in India at a token amount of INR 1 lakh. The MG M9 electric MPV price in India starts at INR 70 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the M9 will commence on August 10. The new MG model will be retailed via the premium retail network where the robust MG Cyberster is sold.
MG M9 Electric MPV Design
When it comes to design language, the MG M9 EV features a boxy design complemented by low-positioned headlamps, big overhangs at the front and rear, and connected taillights. The cabin of the new MG M9 EV sports brown upholstery with black contrast across three seating rows. What sets the MG M9 MPV apart is the powered captain chairs available for the rear passengers.

MG M9 Electric MPV Features
On the feature front, the MG M9 electric MPV is packed with advanced elements like a 12.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system followed by Android Auto connectivity and wireless Apple CarPlay, digital IRVM, a 7.0-inch fully digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a cabin air filter, a 13-speaker JBL sound system, a wireless charger, powered seats, connected car tech, leather and suede upholstery, etc. In addition, the electric car features Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
MG M9 Electric MPV Safety Features
The MG M9 electric vehicle comes equipped with safety features like a Level 2 ADAS suite, seven airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, an electronic stability program (ESP), front and rear disc brakes, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), etc.
MG M9 Electric MPV Powertrain
Under the hood, the MG M9 electric MPV draws power from a 90-kWh battery pack that provides a certified range of 548 km on one charge. The electric MPV features an electric motor that is tuned to produce a peak power of 245 bhp and torque of 350 Nm. In the luxury electric multi-purpose vehicle segment, the M9 electric car gives tough competition to the likes of the Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival.
