Mahindra & Mahindra India has silently updated the exterior color theme of its two most popular sports utility vehicles: the Thar and the Scorpio Classic. The auto giant is now offering both models in the christened Stealth Black color, replacing the company’s signature Napoli Black exterior hue. Additionally, the new Stealth Black color appears to be like the Napoli Black color, which hints that the automaker may have just renamed the Napoli Black.

In the Indian market, other Mahindra models incorporating the XUV700, Scorpio N, Bolero Neo, and XUV300 continue to house the Napoli Black paint. After the new color addition, the Thar SUV comes in five color options: Red Rage, Stealth Black, Desert Fury, Deep Grey, and Everest White. The Mahindra Scorpio Classic SUV, on the other hand, is now available in four color shades, such as Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Molten Red Rage, and Stealth Black.

The Scorpio Classic was launched in the Indian market as an updated version of the Standard SUV. The Classic is being sold in the domestic market alongside the Scorpio N. It is priced between INR 13.59 lakh and INR 17.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The Classic model is available in two trims, S11 and S. The Scorpio features an updated front grille along with vertical slats, LED daytime running lights, new projector headlamps, redesigned alloy wheels, and whatnot.

As of now, the OEM is planning to unveil a 5-door variant of the Thar, which will be retailed alongside the 3-door version. The upcoming 5-door Thar will rival the MY 2023 Maruti Suzuki Jimny. The Jimny was displayed at the Auto Expo 2023. Mahindra is currently testing the new Thar, and it will be launched sometime next year. The SUV manufacturer has stopped accepting bookings for the XUV300 as the model is likely to get a facelift version soon.
