Nissan India has started exporting the Magnite to Indonesia, South Africa and Nepal

Nissan India has officially commenced the exports of all-new Magnite to several global markets in the form of Indonesia, South Africa and Nepal. The brand also revealed that it has rolled out 15,010 units of the sub-compact SUV from the Oragadam facility in Tamil Nadu till end of May 2021, including 13,790 for India and 1,220 for exports. Nissan Magnite was launched in December last year in a price bracket of Rs 5.59-9.74 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. It has received over 50,000 bookings in India.

The 'Made-in-India' Nissan Magnite has also received overwhelming response from buyers in Nepal. The sub 4-m SUV has recorded 760+ bookings within first 30 days of its launch in February 2021 in a market that has monthly passenger vehicle sales of 1,580 units. Built on the philosophy of “Make in India, Make for the World", it is one of the most popular vehicles from the Japanese brand of late. The company has started a third shift at the Chennai facility to keep the demand and supply in check and reduce the rising waiting period. In addition, it has also hired 1000+ people across the manufacturing plant to meet the growing demands for the SUV in the Indian and export markets.
