KTM has teased the launch of the KTM 160 Duke by the end of August 2025. This bike will be the new entry-level KTM after the discontinuation of the 125 Duke. The bike is expected to start at Rs. 1.75 lacs (ex-showroom).

KTM 160 Duke Expected Price & Launch

The expected ex-showroom price of this KTM bike is in the range of Rs. 1.75 lacs to Rs. 1.85 lacs. This price point would place it as the new entry-level KTM, but it would also compete with top-end 150-160cc motorcycles. The launch is expected to happen towards the end of August 2025.

KTM 160 Duke Expected Features & Specifications

The 125 Duke was the most affordable KTM in India, but it struggled with poor sales due to its high price and lower power output. The new 160 Duke is a strategic move to address these shortcomings by offering more performance for a similar or slightly higher price.

A full spec sheet is not out yet, but KTM has been releasing teasers that provide strong clues about the new bike.

The bike will feature a new 160cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is a downsized version of the existing KTM 200 Duke's motor.  It will be built on the same underpinnings as the current-generation KTM 200 Duke, which means it will share the trellis frame, suspension, and braking hardware.

Its design will closely mirror the aggressive, streetfighter styling of the second-generation 200 Duke. It will likely feature a digital LCD instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and all-LED lighting.
