Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has issued a voluntary recall for its famous CBR1000RR and GL1800 Gold Wing motorcycles. The auto giant had to recall these models to rectify their faulty fuel pumps. The fuel pump impellers equipped on the bikes may not have been molded properly, which can further cause them to deform and result in pump failure. While riding, the engine might not start at all or might stall without warning if the fuel pump module fails. The brand is offering a complimentary service to its customers to fix the latest issue.

The auto giant has recalled the GL1800 Gold Wing motorcycles that were constructed between December 2017 and December 2023. The affected CBR1000RR units, on the other hand, were developed between September 2017 and April 2020. Across India, the BigWing Topline dealerships will thoroughly inspect and replace fuel pumps as a preventative measure.
