Hero MotoCorp, one of the largest two-wheeler giants, has finally launched the Mavrick 440 in the Indian market at a starting price of INR 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new bike are currently open for a token amount of INR 5,000, and deliveries will start in April 2024. Hero unveiled the Mavrick 440 at Hero World 2024. The naked street 440 bike is based on the Harley-Davidson X440. The new motorcycle is available in three variants: Base, Top, and Mid.  The Base variant is priced at INR 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Top trim is priced at INR 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mid Mavrick 440 variant, on the other hand, comes at a cost of INR 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

The two-wheeler maker has also launched a ‘Welcome to Mavrick Club Offer’ for customers who place an order for the motorcycle before March 15. Under the new offer, the customers will receive a Mavrick kit of merchandise and accessories worth INR 10,000.

The Mavrick 440 comes equipped with a round LED headlamp along with an H-shaped LED DRL, bar-end mirrors, and one seat with a short tail section. The bike features a digital instrument cluster that comes with Bluetooth connectivity, call and message alerts, a USB-C charging port, and turn-by-turn navigation. The Hero Mavrick 440 is a roadster, and it has a muscular fuel tank with neo-retro elements. The fuel tank, fenders, and shrouds are made of metal.

Powering the 440 motorcycle is a 440-cc single-cylinder engine, which is also equipped in the Harley-Davidson X440. The engine churns out 27 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox through an assist and slipper clutch.
