Lewis Hamilton is a name synonymous with F1 racing. He recently went past legend Micheal Schumacher’s record of most Grand Prix wins. He was out action for a week having tested positive for COVID-19 before returning last week to grab a podium finish at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. While Lewis awaits a new contract from the Mercedes F1 team, he was recently spotted driving Mercedes-AMG One Hypercar. Not a stranger to fast cars, Lewis Hamilton has been snapped multiple times driving McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Pagani Zonda 760 LH. He was behind the wheels of the super snappy AMG One Hypercar as part of the electrified AMG marketing campaign by Mercedes. AMG One Hypercar was unveiled by Hamilton himself at the 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show. Its price will begin at around $2.7 million or 19.86 crores in Indian currency. Only 275 units will be produced worldwide.

The hybrid supercar is the most powerful to emerge from the stables of the German automaker. To showcase its powerful personality, it was arranged side-by-side with Lewis 2020-spec F1 car. Interestingly, AMG Hypercar One is powered by a variation of Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid 1.6-litre V6 engine.  The hybrid is propelled by a unique combination of combustion engine working in tandem with four electric motors. The hypercar will deliver an insane power output of 1,000 bhp. It also comes with an all-wheel-drive system. The vehicle can clock a top speed of 350 kmph.

If we take a close look at the Mercedes-AMG “After Work” video released on social media, there is also an “E Performance” label coming with  electrified AMG cars for next year. It is believed that two other hybrid models are on their way with AMG GT 73e Four-Door Coupe being the most probable one. It will be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine providing a maximum power output of 800 bhp. The other mystery car could be the S63e housing an hybrid V8 engine under the bonnet. It could be delivering a power figure in the range of 700 bhp.
