Ducati has revealed the track-ready 2024 Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916 at EICMA 2023. Ducati has unveiled a new motorcycle, paying tribute to its most classic motorcycle lineup, the Ducati 916. As of now, the company has produced only 500 models of the new limited-edition motorcycle. The 916 was produced by Ducati from 1994 to 1998. The 2024 Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916 borrows its special features from the 916, including carbon bodywork, paint scheme, aluminum tank, and number plaque on the carbon wheels.
The livery of the 2024 Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916 comes inspired by the Ducati 996, one of the most beautiful racing bikes produced by Ducati. The 996 is a direct descendant of the 916, and it was ridden by Carl Fogarty in 1999 at the Superbike World Championship. Ducati has put special focus on the new motorcycle’s livery and paint scheme to pay tribute to the 916. On the fairing, there's a classic tricolor, the number plates are white, and the number 1 has been revisited in a modern letter. The upper half cowl’s black section resembles the cool-air ducts found in the 916. The tank cover is adorned with the same gold-colored laurel logo featured in the 916.

The 2024 Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916 is powered by the 1103 cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale motor that churns out 215.5 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 124 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox along with Ducati’s Quickshift EVO 2 up-and-down quickshifter. The 2024 Panigale has 5-spoke carbon fibre wheels, which minimize the weight of the wheels by 1.3 kilograms. Brembo Stylema R brake calipers aid the brake duty on the motorcycle.
The 2024 Panigale is different from the standard Panigale V4 S in a few ways. The 2024 Panigale comes with a single-seat configuration and a billet aluminum triple clamp that is engraved with the serial number and model name. It features a bunch of track-ready equipment, such as the carbon open clutch cover, wing mirror removal cover caps, billet aluminum plugs, a tail tidy kit, a billet fuel cap, adjustable footpegs, and the company’s Data Analyzer+ Kit with GPS module.
