Ducati has commenced pre-bookings for the upcoming DesertX Rally adventure motorcycle in India. The auto giant unveiled the DesertX Rally motorcycle on the global market last year. The new bike is an off-road-focused version of the DesertX ADV, which is already available in India at a price tag of INR 18.33 lakh (ex-showroom). Ducati is expected to launch the new model in the Indian market later this year. The new DesertX will be more costly than the standard version.

The DesertX Rally is the brand's first motorcycle that comes equipped with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. This motorcycle has participated in the Erzberg Rodeo 2023 and is being tested on racetracks. In addition, the DesertX Rally has brand new livery. The bike also features a KYB USD front fork with a monoshock in the back and an adventure-style high beak on the front mudguard. In comparison to the outgoing DesertX, the front and rear suspension travel of the new bike are extended by 20 mm.

The motorcycle has six riding modes: Sport, Urban, Touring, Enduro, Wet, and Rally. The DesertX Rally also gets a range of electronic aids incorporating Ducati Traction Control (DTC), cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and more. The Rally version comes equipped with a five-inch TFT screen that allows for seamless Bluetooth connectivity, call management, optional turn-by-turn navigation, and music control.
