Bajaj Auto is currently working on the new biggest Pulsar model, which is likely to hit the market on May 3, 2024. The auto giant first launched the Pulsar motorcycle in 2001, and since then it has become one of the most famous bikes in the two-wheeler market in India. Although the rumors of a bigger Bajaj Pulsar model have been going on for quite some years now, the brand has not yet released any specific details or images of the new bike.

The upcoming robust Pulsar 400 could retain the perimeter frame from the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The bike is likely to get ByBre disc brakes at the front and rear, along with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system sourced from Bosch. The suspension duties in the new model will be done by upside-down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.

Apart from the new Pulsar model, the two-wheeler giant is also planning to unveil a CNG-powered motorcycle in India. The new motorcycle is expected to be underpinned by either the CT or Platina platforms. It is going to be the first CNG-powered bike from Bajaj. According to reports, the bike will be unveiled in June 2024.

The Bajaj Pulsar 400 is expected to utilize the same 373-cc engine as the Dominar 400. The engine churns out power of 39 bhp at 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque output at 6,500 rpm. The 400 version itself is based on the powertrain block of the older-generation KTM 390 Duke. The company has reworked the engine to provide a more tractable nature in place of a high-revving one. In the KTM 390 Duke motorcycle, the powertrain generates power of 42.9 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of peak torque output at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch.
