The leading two-wheeler giant, Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL), has rolled out the 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R in the Indian market. The 2025 iteration of the brand’s performance bike, GSX-8R, has now been updated with the new OBD-2B emission norms. It meets current strict environmental standards while boasting a sporty and attractive design. The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R price in India starts at INR 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

2025 Suzuki GSX-8R Design

The updated GSX-8R motorcycle continues to feature the company’s modern design language. It features an aggressive stance and a mass-forward silhouette. There are vertically fixed hexagonal LED headlamps at the front and a newly styled windscreen with enhanced aerodynamics. Suzuki is offering the 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R in three attractive color schemes: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Black, and Metallic Matte Sword Silver.

2025 Suzuki GSX-8R Features

When it comes to feature updates, the 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R is being offered with the company’s Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), a Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), and a Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) for power delivery modes. The motorcycle features a bi-directional quick shifter, a ride-by-wire throttle system, low RPM Assist, brand’s Easy Start, and more. All these technological updates make the Suzuki GSX-8R user-friendly for riders.

2025 Suzuki GSX-8R Powertrain

The Suzuki GSX-8R draws power from a 776-cc parallel-twin four-cylinder engine with DOHC. The engine is loaded with a 270-degree crankshaft. The bike features a patented Cross Balancer system, which reduces engine vibrations and enhances comfort for longer journeys. It rolls on light-cast aluminum wheels that are shod by Dunlop RoadSport 2 radial tyres.

The motorcycle weighs 205 kg, with a seat height of 810 mm and ground clearance measuring 145 mm. Suspension duties are done by Showa SFF-BP inverted forks up front, and at the rear, the bike gets a mono-shock. It features dual radial-mounted four-piston calipers up front, paired with 310 mm discs, delivering strong and reliable braking performance.
