Skoda Auto has unveiled the 2025 Octavia Facelift globally with a range of new features. The latest model will be available in both estate and sedan versions. The Octavia was first unveiled in 2019, and this is the first time the automaker is offering a facelift version of the car. India is expected to get the Sportier RS guise of the Octavia. In the international market, Skoda is going to offer the new car with two diesel and four petrol powertrain options. The Octavia is Skoda’s best-selling car in the automotive market. Since its debut in 1996, the brand has sold over 7 million Octavia units globally. The Octavia RS is expected to be priced around INR 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

In terms of design, the 2025 Skoda Octavia Facelift comes with an updated front design with a new butterfly grille and new bumper. It gets new headlamps with Matrix LED technology and a twin-element LED DRL signature. As standard, the RS version gets new Matrix lights that provide adaptive glare-free high beam. The car also has a new set of alloy wheels sized between 16-inch and 19-inch, as per the variant. The front profile stays the same, whereas the rear gets a redesigned bumper and revised LED taillights that give the model a sharper look.

Inside the cabin, the Octavia features a new theme of dual-tone brown and black, along with brushed silver accents. The significant change in the top trims is the addition of the new 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment screen (10-inch on lower trims). As standard, the car range gets a 10-inch digital instrument console and twin-zone automatic climate control.

The latest iteration of the Skoda Octavia gets other upgrades like sleeker AC vents, recycled fabrics, and physical buttons. It also comes equipped with ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, a premium sound system, and wireless charging. The biggest update in the new Octavia is the integration of ChatGPT along with the new infotainment system. The Facelift gets a range of safety features, such as ESC, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchorages, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and multiple airbags.

Under the hood, the new Octavia will come with a range of petrol and diesel engine options, including 2.0-litre turbo diesel, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 2.0-litre turbo petrol. The All-Wheel Drive model is dropped, and all models send power to the wheels at the front. The Octavia RS version has also been updated with the 2.0-litre TSI, which now churns out 257 bhp and has a peak torque of 370 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic.
