Porsche has revealed the 2024 Taycan facelift in the international market ahead of its official launch. The Taycan electric sports car was first launched in 2019, and now the more updated version of the car is out with notable changes. The 2024 model comes with a new design and interior updates. The automaker offers the car in three body styles: Sport Turismo, Cross Turismo, and Standard. Porsche is expected to launch the new facelift in India as well. All three variants of the Taycan are already available on the Indian market.

The new Porsche Taycan facelift comes equipped with HD-Matrix LED headlamps followed by detailed optics. The bumper, on the other hand, receives subtle changes like upgraded air vents. The car gets new aero-optimized alloy wheels along with low-rolling-resistance tyres. The Taycan comes loaded with new upgrades like an adaptive air suspension as standard and Porsche Active Ride suspension as an option.

Inside the cabin, the new Taycan facelift receives a few changes, including a revised digital instrument console, a third screen for the passengers sitting in the front seats, a bigger infotainment system, software updates, and new leather-free seat upholstery. The Porsche Taycan gets standard features such as Park Assist with a reverse camera, heated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger, a steering-mounted drive mode selector, ambient lighting, and Porsche Power Steering Plus.

The Taycan facelift gets a rear axle motor that produces 105 bhp. In the top-spec Taycan Turbo S variant, the motor generates a powerful output of 939 bhp. The 2024 Taycan facelift is the fastest-accelerating Porsche ever, as it comes with better performance figures. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.4 seconds. The Taycan base rear-wheel-drive trim has received more changes. The electric motor equipped in the base variant now churns out 476 bhp, while the older model only produced 321 bhp.

Under the skin, the 2024 Taycan facelift is powered by 89 kWh and 105 kWh battery sets. The automaker said that it has also tweaked Taycan’s other powertrain features, incorporating more powerful batteries, a modified pulse inverter with optimized software, a next-generation heat pump, revised thermal management, an all-wheel-drive strategy, and a modified recuperation.
