Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the much-anticipated 2021 Hayabusa last month in the country. Within two days of its official launch, the superbike was sold out in India. According to the latest media reports, the second batch of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will arrive by July or August this year. As for the bookings, they are likely to open next month. We can also expect to see an increase in the price of the bike. Currently, the supersport motorcycle is retailed at Rs 16.40 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).

Design-wise, the 2021 Hayabusa features a LED headlamp upfront. Other design bits include LED turn indicators, LED tail lamps, a new symmetrical twin silencer exhaust system, and a new TFT display among others. Talking about the updated electronic package, it includes Suzuki drive mode selector alpha with three factory presets & three user-defined modes, a launch control system with three modes, three power modes, and a cruise control system. The 2021 Hayabusa is offered in three paint schemes -  Glass Sparkle Black/ Candy Burnt Gold, Metallic Mat Sword Silver/ Candy Daring Red & Pearl Brilliant White/ Metallic Mat Stellar Blue.

Furthermore, the bike sits on Suzuki’s twin-spar aluminium frame and weighs 2 kgs lesser than the previous model. Performance-wise, the 2021 Hayabusa is powered by a 1340cc four-cylinder fuel-injected in-line engine that churns out a maximum power of 187.7 bhp at 9700rpm and a peak torque of 150 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine is further mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The updated engine comes with an Active Speed Limiter, which basically allows the rider to set a speed limit the bike should not exceed.
