BMW India has launched the 620d M Sport Signature in the Indian market. The luxury sedan is available at a price tag of INR 78.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new 620d will be assembled locally at the company’s manufacturing plant located in Chennai. BMW is offering the M Sport in four different color schemes: Tanzanite Blue, Mineral White, Carbon Black, and Skyscraper Grey.

In India, the sedan was earlier available in petrol trim, but now, the auto giant also sells the BMW 6 Series in a new diesel powertrain option. German carmaker BMW has stated that it has started the booking process for the new model. Customers can reserve the 620d M Sport online or via the brand’s dealerships across India.

Inside the cabin, the BMW 620d M Sport Signature comes loaded with a new 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display. The new BMW model gets an opulent interior along with fully electric front seats that are equipped with memory functions. The seats have Dakota leather upholstery featuring black contrast piping and exclusive stitching. It gets soft-close functions for the door, 10.25-inch touchscreen monitors, a two-part panoramic sunroof, rear seat entertainment, four-zone climate control, a Harman Kardon system, and more.

The 620d M Sport Signature comes with a distinctive kidney grille along with BMW laser light-based headlamps and a sleeker coupe-like sloping roofline. It gets chrome-plated exhaust pipes and an LED at the rear end. The exterior of the new car is identical to the outgoing petrol version. The sedan houses updated features like BMW Virtual Assistant, 3D navigation, wireless charging, wireless smartphone connectivity, BMW Gesture Control, reverse parking camera, BMW key with a display, and remote-control parking.

For safety, the sedan houses six airbags, brake assist, ABS, dynamic traction control (DTC), dynamic stability control (DSC), cornering brake control (CBC), and electronic differential lock control (EDLC).

The 620d M Sport Signature is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine that churns out 187 bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired with an 8-speed gearbox. The auto giant says that the new car can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds. The luxury sedan gets five driving modes: Comfort+, Comfort, Sport, Eco Pro, and Adaptive.
