About LML

LML stands for Lohia Machines Private Limited. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer began its journey in the year 1978. Initially, the company was involved in the manufacturing of synthetic yarn machines. After years in that business, it became a public limited company and diversified into processing synthetic yearn in the same year. After 6 years, it entered into a technical collaboration with Italian two-wheeler giant Piaggio wherein a scooter project was set up between the two companies. After nearly a decade of collaboration, the first scooter LML Select came out in the year 1993. LML scooters in India back then were way ahead of time and boasted new technology and aesthetics which helped the brand to achieve instant success. However, before it could completely take off, their collaboration with Piaggio ended in the year 1999.

LML is quite popular for its scooters. Majority of the brand image was formed due to its scooters range. The new scooters are no longer available in the market, but there are plenty of used scooters. LML scooters have proved its efficiency and power by providing commuters with a better commuting experience. LML 4 Stroke scooters did considerably well in the market, and even if you compare the LML 4 stroke scooters with other ones, you will see the difference in terms of engine quality, design and overall performance of these brands. A few years ago, the manufacturer had introduced NV and NV LS version of its scooter models, but with existing tough competition in the market, it could not keep up the pace.

LML 4 stroke comes with a 147.5cc engine that churns out a power 8.7bhp at 6250 rpm and 11.3 Nm of maximum torque at the highest speed of 4250 rpm. With such an exhilarating power, LML was the powerful scooter model at the time. Back then, the scooters used to come with air cooled technology for engine along with other smooth riding features.

There is not a lot to cover about the new LML scooter models. However, we can learn about the variation offered by the manufacturer in these scooter models which is just in term of kickstart and self-start.
