Volvo India has rolled out special discounts of INR 2 lakh on the C40 Recharge units manufactured in 2023. The Volvo C40 Recharge is now available at a price of INR 60.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, buyers can benefit from this offer only until older stocks of the car last. This is not the first time Volvo has reduced the price of its C40 model. In February 2024, the auto marque offered a discount of INR 1 lakh on the C40 Recharge.

Initially, the Volvo C40 Recharge was unveiled at an introductory price of INR 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. In October 2023, the automaker implemented a price hike on the C40. The newly assembled units of the EV are currently priced at INR 62.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The price drop has made this electric vehicle more accessible to buyers.

The Volvo C40 Recharge electric SUV has a coupe-like design and comes equipped with updated features like wired Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with a 9.0-inch central infotainment unit, Harman Kardon sound system, a 3-spoke steering wheel, vegan leather upholstery, and dual-zone climate control.

In terms of safety features, the EV sports Level 3 ADAS features along with an auto-one-pedal drive system that can detect traffic conditions. Powering the C40 Recharge is a 78-kWh battery, which is also equipped in the XC40 Recharge. The dual-motor electric powertrain provides a WLTP range of up to 530 kilometers. The twin motor generates 403 bhp of power and a peak torque of 660 Nm.

The electric SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.7 seconds. The EV has a limited top speed of 180 kmph. The car can be fast charged at up to 150 kW and can sprint from 10 to 80 percent in 37 minutes.
