Okaya EV, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, is all set to unveil its premium brand named Ferrato in India. The EV maker earlier revealed that the brand will launch two new motorcycles and one scooter in the Indian market. Ferrato has now teased its upcoming electric bike, which is likely to be launched during FY 2024-25.
For now, Ferrato has named the electric motorcycle ‘Disruptor’. It is powered by a 6.4 kW PMSM motor that churns out a horsepower of 228 Nm. The electric motorcycle will have a certified high speed of 95 kmph. Ferrato is expected to reveal more teasers about the motorcycle in the coming days.
Okaya EV has already announced its plans for Ferrato’s dealership network. The company is gearing up to open more than 100 dealerships for Ferrato in the country. With the introduction of Ferrato, the company is not only unveiling a new product but also hitting a new milestone in the EV sector. The EV maker claims that each Ferrato offering will epitomize strength, intelligence, and power, providing an exciting and premium-quality ride. This new move is part of the company’s strategy to increase its market share in the sustainable transportation space by targeting automotive enthusiasts.

Okaya EV has recently added the Motofaast scooter to its lineup. In the Indian market, the scooter is available at a price of INR 1,36,999 (ex-showroom). The electric motor equipped in the Motofaast can churn out a peak power output of 2300 W. The new scooter has a certified top speed of 70 kmph. It comes in three riding modes: City, Eco, and Sports. The Motofaast has a dual battery system that provides a combined capacity of 3.53 kWh via LFP technology. It takes 4-5 hours to fully charge the battery set. According to the manufacturer, the riding range is between 110 and 130 km.
