Nissan Motor India is all set to increase the price of the Magnite compact SUV in January 2024. The manufacturer has decided to implement a price surge due to growing input costs and inflationary pressure. The percentage increase has not been shared. Before implementing the price hike, the manufacturer is also providing several benefits to Magnite. Nissan is providing benefits of up to INR 97,550 on the Magnite, depending on the region. The company is offering benefits including cash discounts, finance offers, accessories, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts.

Nissan Magnite is currently available at a price range of INR 6 lakh (ex-showroom) and INR 11.02 lakh (ex-showroom). It gives tough competition to the likes of the Hyundai Exter, Citroen C3, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet.

The Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine churns out 71 bhp of power and peak torque of 96 Nm, and it is mated to a five-speed AMT. The turbo-petrol unit produces power of 99 bhp and 160 Nm of peak torque. Both units are paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The turbo-petrol unit, on the other hand, has an optional CVT AT transmission that decreases the torque output to 152 Nm.

Nissan recently launched the Kuro Edition of the Magnite in India. The new Edition comes in an all-black interior and exterior theme. The Japanese word Kuro means black in English. The new variants of Magnite Kuro will have a similar all-black glossy exterior color theme. It will get new skid plates, headlight accents, bumpers, door handles, a blacked-out grille, and roof rails painted black. The Magnite will come with alloy wheels with red calipers. The manufacturer has not made any significant changes in the design language.
