Kawasaki unveiled the new W175 Street motorcycle at the India Bike Week on December 8, 2023. The motorcycle is available at an introductory price of INR 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki W175 Street gets an eye-catching retro-classic style and a compact 177-cc unit, which puts this motorcycle in the category of one of the most affordable Kawasaki bikes in India.

The two-wheeler manufacturer unveiled this all-new W175 Street motorcycle at the ongoing India Bike Week. India Bike Week is the biggest motorcycle festival in Asia, and it is held yearly for 2 days in November or December. In 2023, India Bike Week is scheduled to take place from December 8th to 9th in Goa. Kawasaki declared that deliveries of the new bike would commence this month. The Japanese manufacturer claims that the new Street motorcycle is made in India, and this machine is made for India. The W175 Street gets a retro-style circular multi-reflector headlamp that has a chrome bezel, highlighting the classic charm. Kawasaki is offering this new motorcycle in two color schemes: Metallic Moondust Gray and Candy Emerald Green.

Kawasaki W175 Street bike joins the current W175 model that is priced at INR 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the standard W175, the new Street model is slightly more expensive. The standard W175 is also available in two paint options: Candy Persimmon Red and Ebony. When it comes to the styling design, the new W175 Street takes inspiration from the W175, which comes with retro-classic styling. The new motorcycle is constructed on a semi-double cradle frame, and it comes with a semi-digital retro-themed instrument cluster.

The all-new W175 rolls on alloy wheels that are wrapped with tubeless tyres. Braking duties on the motorcycle are done by a 270 mm front disc and single-channel ABS. The motorcycle also comes with telescopic front forks and double-shock rear suspension. Under the hood, Kawasaki W175 Street is powered by a 177-cc, one-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out 12.82 bhp of high power at 7,000 rpm and 13.3 Nm of max torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
