Lambretta has unveiled its latest electric concept scooter, the Elettra, at EICMA 2023. The brand has currently revealed this e-scooter in prototype form. The two-wheeler manufacturer has confirmed that the Elettra electric scooter will go into production soon. Lambretta is famous for developing its scooters in India, back in the 70s and 80s. And it has a strong following in India, even today. Now the manufacturer sells electric bikes and scooters globally.

The new Elettra e-scooter looks very similar to the original scooters of yore, as it has a retro design with various modern features. To access the mechanicals of the e-scooters, the rear bodywork of the concept can be lifted completely. It is assembled on a steel frame and brings out a lovely amalgamation of old and new scooters. With hexagonal LED headlamps, the e-scooter concept comes with a modernized replication of the design language. In the scooter, the charging socket is positioned on the right side of the panel, along with a slider.

The Elettra Electric Concept retains the cosmetic front of the classic Lambretta scooters. The new concept includes newly designed modern features, including a light strip that runs throughout the scooter’s body, a blue seat, new generation taillamps, and LED headlamps with a DRL. There are indicators included in modern-looking wheels and the handle. The concept rolls on 12-inch wheels. The Electric Concept is suspended by double shocks up at the front and a linked monoshock at the rear.

The braking duties on the e-scooters are handled by a single-disc brake setup. The Elettra is powered by an 11 kW (14.7 bhp) electric motor, and it has a peak speed of 110 kmph. The floating single seat height of the scooter is 780 mm, and its weight measures 135 kg. The Elettra e-scooter concept comes equipped with a lithium-ion 4.6 kWh battery pack; the battery can be charged in 5 hours, 35 minutes, and with a home charger, it can be charged in 35 minutes (0 to 80%). Lambretta has confirmed that on one charge in Eco mode, the e-scooter can go up to 127 km via the 4.6 kWh battery pack. The Elettra electric scooter is available in three riding modes: Ride, Sport, and Eco.
