Kawasaki Motor India has started this new year with two new offerings. The brand launched the all-new Ninja ZX-6R on January 1st, and yesterday it unveiled the Eliminator 500 cruiser motorcycle in India. The Kawasaki Eliminator cruiser is available at a price of INR 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom). The two-wheeler manufacturer first revealed the Eliminator 500 last year in the international market. The iconic motorcycle has already caught the eye of several motorcycle enthusiasts. Interested customers can book the new Eliminator at their nearest company’s dealerships.

The all-new 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator comes as a classic cruiser with several modern styling updates. The bike retains the laidback stance and low-slung design from the outgoing model, but it gets a new circular LED headlamp, all-black components, and an exposed frame. The Eliminator gets a circular LCD instrument console along with all the essentials such as coolant temperature, speedometer, fuel gauge, tachometer, gear position indicator, coolant temperature, two trip meters, and more. The motorcycle also gets Bluetooth connectivity through the company’s Rideology app, along with notifications and calls.

Powering the new Eliminator is the 451-cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled unit that is also equipped in the Ninja 400 motorcycle. The engine churns out 44 bhp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 46 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets an assist and slipped clutch. The motorcycle has other mechanical features, such as dual shock absorbers at the back and 41-mm telescopic forks up front. Braking duties are done by a front 310-mm semi-floating disc and a dual shock absorber at the back with dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle rolls on a 130/70/R18 tyre up front and a 150/80R16 tyre at the back. The tyres are wrapped around 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Kawasaki is offering adjustable seats and footpegs on the motorcycle to provide a more comfortable riding experience for the riders. Deliveries for the new bike will commence from mid-January onwards. Kawasaki India is also offering several accessories with the motorcycle, including a tank pad, a rear carrier, frame sliders, and a radiator screen. The Eliminator cruiser will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in the cruiser middleweight bike segment.
