Hero Motocorp recently launched the Special Edition Glamour Blaze at Rs 72,200 (ex-showroom) Delhi in the Indian market. Ahead of the festive season, the motorcycle giant has refreshed its popular bike to woo consumers. There is not much to differentiate between the Special Edition and standard variants as elements like the design, engine and powertrain remain the same. The Special Edition Glamour Blaze will be sold with a  new  Matte Vernier Grey colour option in the domestic market. The bike comes with a USB charger mounted on the handlebar which is a segment-first feature in the 125cc motorcycle category. Now, the rider can charge the phone while being on the move. Positioned between the disc and drum variants, the Hero Glamour Blaze Special Edition rivals Honda SP 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125 in its segment.

Funky Lime Yellow graphic provided to the bike aims at attracting many towards it. Other notable additions include a halogen headlamp, new side stand indicator, digital-analogue instrument panel and a signature 'H' tail lamp. If we talk about the dimension, the Special Edition bike measures 2,051mm in length, 743mm in width and 1,074 in height. Its ground clearance stands at 180mm with a 1,273 mm long wheelbase. The New Hero Glamour Blaze Special Edition has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres with a kerb weight of 123 kgs.

The motorcycle is powered by a BS6 compliant 125cc engine with XSens Programmed Fuel Injection Technology that also powers the standard variants. The engine delivers 10.73 bhp of maximum power output and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is taken care by a 5-speed gearbox with a one-down, four-up gearshift pattern. For braking, there is a 240mm disc upfront while the rear stands to provide a 130mm drum. As for suspension, one gets telescopic front forks with 120mm travel and 5-step adjustable hydraulic shocks with 81mm travel at the rear. The bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.
