Honda Cars India has surged prices for their recently launched Elevate SUV by up to INR 58,000. The company has put an end to their introductory offer on the SUV. The Elevate compact SUV was launched in the Indian market in September 2023 at an initial price of INR 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Since its launch, this is the first hike implemented on the SUV.

The Elevate compact SUV is now available at a starting price of INR 11.58 lakh, and for the top-spec twin-tone variant, it goes up to INR 16.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The new costs are now listed on Honda’s website. To purchase the SUV in the pearl color option, buyers will have to pay an extra INR 8,000.

The move came right after Honda announced a price hike on its models in December 2023. The Elevate compact SUV has had an amazing start, as it recently crossed the sales milestone of 20,000 units. The Elevate SUV comes with multi-angle rearview cameras, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), reverse parking sensors, and more. Honda Cars India is offering the Elevate compact SUV in four trims: VX, SV, ZX, and V, excluding the base variants.

The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit that churns out 119 bhp and a peak torque of 145 Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic.

The compact SUV gets updated features, including a 10.25-inch LCD touchscreen infotainment system along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also comes with Honda Connect, a seven-inch TFT digital instrument console, soft-touch door and dashboard inserts, and wireless charging.

The Honda Elevate rivals the likes of the Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. This model will also rival the forthcoming Hyundai Creta facelift, scheduled to launch later this month.
