Hero MotoCorp India has taken the wraps off the new Xtreme 125R motorcycle at Hero World 2024. The auto giant is bringing an all-new stylish commuter to the Indian bike segment. The motorcycle is available at a starting price of INR 95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is all set to give tough competition to the TVS Raider 125, which is a high-end 125-cc commuter space. Hero MotoCorp is offering the motorcycle in two variants: a single-channel ABS and a dual-channel ABS variant. The dual-channel variant is priced at INR 99,500 (ex-showroom).
The new stylish commuter will soon be available at Hero MotoCorp’s dealerships. The booking process will commence in the coming days. The all-new Hero Xtreme 125R is different in looks from the company’s traditional commuters as it has a hyper-stylish design. The new design provides the bike with a different look, setting it apart from anything the brand has offered so far.
Hero Xtreme 125R Specifications
The Xtreme 125R comes loaded with a digital console along with an LCD unit packed with a lot of information. The new motorcycle comes with razor-sharp styling and a unique headlamp at the front that provides it with a distinctive front fascia. It gets a low-slung headlamp that comes with LED turn indicators on each side and DRLs on top. The Hero Xtreme 125R gets a lean body thanks to a sharply styled fuel tank along with shrouds on either side that further build a lot of muscle on the bike. It has sporty looks due to split grab rails and split seats.

The Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by the new 125-cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 11.39 bhp at 8,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle utilizes 37-mm telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the back, manufactured by Showa. Braking duties are done by one front disc, and the choice of a drum brake or disc at the rear also depends on the variant.
Apart from the new commuter, the company has also revealed the Xoom 125R, Mavrick 440, and Xoom 160 at the ongoing Hero World 2024.
