Maruti Suzuki India has commenced the booking process for the upcoming Swift in India. The auto giant will launch its fourth-generation Swift on May 9, 2024. Interested customers can reserve this new car by visiting the company’s website or via Arena dealerships. Bookings for the new Swift are currently open for a token amount of INR 11,000, while deliveries are likely to start in June this year. The upcoming hatchback will receive some significant updates for the model year 2024.
In India, the new-generation Swift is going to be one of the major launches by the company in 2024. The Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to come in a range of trims and color options. In terms of design language, it is likely to feature an evolutionary style. The hatchback will house updated amenities like new bumpers, a grille, a shark-fin antenna, alloy wheels, and more. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will get conventional door handles in place of the rear door handles located on the C-pillar. It gets a revamped tailgate and blacked-out ORVMs.

The company has so far sold more than 29 lakh units of the hatchback since its launch in the domestic market. Inside, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will come equipped with a bigger MID unit for the instrument console and a floating touchscreen infotainment system. Moreover, it will have enriched features like a 9-inch floating infotainment touchscreen along with wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, automatic climate control, and keyless entry with push start, among others. It is likely to get new seat upholstery and materials. In addition, the design of the cabin is based on the Baleno model. For safety, the Swift will have features like multiple airbags, an electronic stability program, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and ABS with EBD.
The new-gen Maruti Swift will be powered by a new 1.2-litre Z-Series (Z12E) petrol engine, while the previous model featured the 1.2-litre K-Series (K12C) motor. Along with a CNG trim, there will also be automatic and manual gearboxes for transmission. To reach more customers, the brand is also anticipated to unveil more robust variants of the hatchback.
