With the tremendous increase in air pollution and fuel price, electric vehicles are the only way to solve these issues. Okinawa an electric two-wheeler manufacturer yet again has taken a step towards the greener side by launching the Ridge+. The Ridge+ is an electric scooter which has a detachable lithium-ion battery.
This lithium-ion battery powers the 800-watt, BLDC Motor of Ridge+. The top speed of Ridge+ is 55 km/hr and in a single charge, this scooter can run 120 km. The loading capacity of the scooter is 150 kg. The scooter gets drum brakes on both front and rear with Electronic Assisted Braking System (E-ABS). This system regenerates energy when the brakes are applied on the e-scooter.
The Ridge+ also gets central locking, an anti-theft alarm, keyless entry and a Find My Scooter function which allows the owner to remotely locate the scooter. The e-scooter is available in two colour options – Lucent Orange/ Magna Grey & Mid Night Blue. Ridge+ is priced at Rs. 64,998/- (Ex-showroom Pan India).
